Green Junk Removal - Environmentally-Friendly

Chuck It Junk Removal is environmentally conscious with the junk that we haul away and are proponents of green junk removal. What is Green Junk Removal ? Reducing what goes into landfills, reusing what is salvageable, and recycling as much of the junk as possible that we haul away.
What Does Chuck It Junk Removal Do with the Junk?
It depends on what it is. When possible we reduce, reuse, and recycle the junk that we remove (furniture, clothes, electronics, metals, paper & cardboard, tires, etc.). Following is what we do with some of the common items we pick up.
Salvageable Items
If items are salvageable, we donate them to local charitable organizations such as the Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity.
E-waste
We have recently partnered with an international R2 certified electronics recycler. They guarantee that 100% of the E-waste they take in gets recycled and nothing ends up in a landfill. Basically, anything with a cord goes to them.
Metals
These are taken to a metal recycling center to be melted
down and reused again.

Paper & Cardboard
Large amounts of paper and cardboard are dropped off at different collection containers that benefit various charities.
Tires
Tires are taken to our tire vendor which are then
taken to a tire recycler.
Landfill
Although we do our best to recycle as much as we can; we do take some items to landfills for proper disposal. These are items that are usually at the end of their life cycle for which we cannot find a home or recycling center.
Unfortunately, we are unable to remove and haul Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) including,
but not limited to, the following items
- Oil Based Paint
- Asbestos
- Aerosols
- Liquids
- Toxic or Hazardous materials
- Chemicals
- Oil
- Pesticides
- Items Highly Flammable
- Cleaners / Solvents of any kind
- Fuel
- Antifreeze
- Bio-medicalh
